A Life-Changing Paragliding Journey at Temple Pilots Kamshet

Temple Pilots Paragliding in Kamshet is not just a paragliding school; it is a deeply transformative place that combines world class training, uncompromising safety, and a profoundly positive learning environment for both adults and teenagers.

1. A life changing P1 experience
• As a 47 year old first time student doing the APPI P1 course, the entire setup and process felt extremely structured, professional, and yet warm and welcoming from day one.
• The day is thoughtfully designed with ground handling, briefings, debriefs, simulators, and progressive flights, so you always know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
• By the end of the course, I walked away not just with a certificate, but with a huge boost in confidence, clarity about my own capabilities, and a genuine sense of having opened a new chapter in life.

2. Founders who truly care
• Avi Sir and Anita Ma’am are involved in the smallest details, from safety briefings to how students are feeling physically and emotionally through the training days.
• It is very clear they run Temple Pilots out of passion for free flight and teaching, not as a volume driven commercial operation; the focus is always on quality, safety, and student growth, never on “churning numbers.”
• Their presence sets the tone for the whole school: disciplined, kind, and deeply invested in making safe, competent and happy pilots, regardless of age or background.

3. Safety, structure and exceptional instructors
• Safety is absolutely paramount here; from internationally certified equipment and in flight radio supervision to weather based go/no go decisions where they will happily cancel or delay rather than take a risk.
• The instructors; including Santosh Sir, Sagar Sir, Pravin Sir, Vinayak Sir, Mihir Sir, Neenad Sir, Rohit Sir and many others, are passionate teachers who patiently help every student work through fear, correct mistakes, and progress at their own pace.
• They maintain an excellent instructor to student ratio, give detailed feedback after each session, and use simulators, video reviews and briefings so you understand not just how to fly, but the underlying weather, aerodynamics and decision making.

4. A special journey for my 14 year old son
• My 14 year old son did the P1 course with me, and the way the team tailored the training to his age, learning style and confidence level was remarkable, culminating in his first successful solo flight within four days.
• Watching him take off solo, with clear understanding of every step and why he was doing it, was genuinely life changing for him and for me as a parent.
• His comment perfectly captures Temple Pilots; “I wish all teachers even in schools and other institutes were like the instructors at Temple Pilots. They trained me within 4 days to be up there in the sky solo, with good learning and understanding of each and every step. This is the biggest and happiest moment of my life.”

5. Campus, food and vibrant community
• The base feels like a home and a club more than a commercial setup – a place where seekers from all walks of life meet, fly together, and form bonds that clearly bring many of them back year after year to upgrade skills.
• The food is excellent, home style and nourishing, and genuinely becomes something you look forward to after long training sessions; the kitchen team deserves a special thank you for keeping energy and morale high.
• Between the positive energy at the base, the hospitality, and the strong community of club pilots and returning students, Temple Pilots becomes a long term flying family rather than just a one time course.

If you are considering learning paragliding – whether to tick off a bucket list item, reset your life, or begin a serious flying journey for yourself or your teenager; Temple Pilots in Kamshet is, in this experience, the ideal place to start. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.
