As an educator, I can say that the crew at Temple Pilot pays great attention to teaching. They are knowledgeable, kind, patient and allow you to progress step by step. There is a really nice vibe at the base and there are option to get your accomodation and food settled by them which makes it very convenient especially when you have to start super early in the morning. In terms of view,it’s not as great as Europe with clear skies and gorgeous mountains but the price point is very affordable.
We’ve just completed the 20-day P3 course, plus two extra days flying with the Temple pilots, and it’s hard to put into words how special this time here has been for us.
What makes this place unique is that the focus goes far beyond simply learning how to paraglide with a strong technical foundation and exceptionally high safety standards. The instructors also place a huge emphasis on mental skills confidence, decision-making, awareness, and trust in yourself. These are lessons we know we will carry with us not only in flying, but in our everyday lives.
We couldn’t have wished for a better place to take this step in our paragliding journey. Thank you ❤️
The professional course, compliant with APPI standards, was delivered by expert instructors, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I completed the 12-day APPI Explorer course and am eager to enroll in the APPI P3 program in the near future. I extend my sincere gratitude to all instructors and the entire team for their consistent encouragement throughout the course.
Learning paragliding with Temple Pilot was excellent as I didn’t expect the teachings would be that world 🌎 class..i managed to build a solid foundations on paragliding though I was there for just 10 days.. just before my departure, at home 🏡 i couldn’t have time to get myself ready making myself physically strong because of my hectic work schedule adding it little hindrance towards my training leading to a bit of tiredness and fatigue..but next time I will go back to Temple Pilot with fully charged up physique 😊 ..my Gurus like Mihir Sir, Vinayak Sir, Praveen Sir, Ankush Sir, and to mention many are always helping us identify our limits or weaknesses and how to overcome those weaknesses..so just like i trust my heavenly angels ..i could trust them…so now I don’t have to daydream about paragliding..i am conscious and fully awake and realised my dream of flying 🪽 by going to Temple Pilot paragliding school…

A school with great pride in its quality of training, which is clear to see. I completed the P3 course having come to this school on a recommendation; I was not disappointed. The level of training, expereince of instructors and facilities are great making you feel safe in this sport. A big thank you to all the instructors for making this fun as well as a great learning experience. The food on site was incredible on a daily basis always varied and healthy, though as a foriegner you are unable to stay on site there are local hotels or rental accommodation closeby.

This course is no walk in the park, it is a legitimate mental and physical marathon. Between mastering ground handling, understanding weather patterns, and overcoming the instinct that tells you humans weren’t meant to dangle from strings & fly, there were moments where I thought I’d be a permanent fixture on the training hill.
What truly sets this school apart is the incredible instructors. Their patience is nothing short of saintly. They didn’t just teach me how to fly, they managed the mental side of my frustration.
I walked away not just with a certificate, but with a massive sense of relief and achievement along with a huge amount of respect for this team.
Had an amazing time paragliding at Kamshet with Temple Pilots. The view of western ghats were stunning and the instructor (Mr. VINAYAK) was professional, friendly, and made sure me and my husband felt safe and confident.
The takeoff and landing were smooth, and the whole experience felt very well-managed.
Overall, it’s the perfect weekend adventure — safe, exciting, and unforgettable! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lonavala or Pune.

I did a 7-day course with Temple Pilots, and it was truly an amazing experience. The instructors are top-notch and genuinely care about your learning pace. There’s absolutely no pressure—they take the time to make sure you really understand what you’re doing, instead of just rushing you through the course.
The stay feels just like home. Even though I was travelling solo, I never once felt alone. The overall vibe is warm, calm, and incredibly welcoming. The co-founders, Avi sir and Anita ma’am, are truly inspirational and create an environment that makes learning both comfortable and exciting.
The food is delicious, and sharing meals and stories with everyone adds so much to the experience. Hearing others’ journeys and experiences teaches you a lot beyond just flying. I honestly had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to go back for more.
