I did a 7-day course with Temple Pilots, and it was truly an amazing experience. The instructors are top-notch and genuinely care about your learning pace. There’s absolutely no pressure—they take the time to make sure you really understand what you’re doing, instead of just rushing you through the course.
The stay feels just like home. Even though I was travelling solo, I never once felt alone. The overall vibe is warm, calm, and incredibly welcoming. The co-founders, Avi sir and Anita ma’am, are truly inspirational and create an environment that makes learning both comfortable and exciting.
The food is delicious, and sharing meals and stories with everyone adds so much to the experience. Hearing others’ journeys and experiences teaches you a lot beyond just flying. I honestly had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to go back for more.
When one selects adventure sports, Safety, guidance, and a vision to understand the sport is utmost important and there should be no compromise on these three aspects.
The Temple Pilots team treats you like their child who learns flying as we learnt how we learn our first step to walk as a baby.
Skilled instructors with safety and an enjoyable experience go hand in hand.
PS. This place is my home away from home. They take care of your nutrition just the way the your mom does, with love.
Always imagined how it would be if I could fly like a bird, and the folks here made it happen.
Amazing environment buckled strong with safety, I gained the confidence to glide. From theory to simulation to practical experience, they had it covered in a structured way that doesn’t rush you at any point, and comforts you to soar like you’d wish!
10/10 instructors

10/10 food
11/10 safety
And ♾️/10 FUNNN! Definitely coming back sometime again
Had an amazing experience. Best place to learn paragliding. Safety is always a priority for the instructors and they want you to enjoy the course. The homestay was filled with amazing people and tasty homemade food. Will visit again to continue my paragliding certification.
It was my first ever paragliding experience and safe to say that I could not have chosen a better place to do it at. The whole process was very smooth – right from taking us to the paragliding site, filling up all the forms and giving us a safety brief. The flight was amazing and my pilot, Mr. Pravin, made sure I was comfortable throughout. Highly recommend temple pilots for your next paragliding experience!
I did the P1 course with Temple Pilots, and got some of the most thrilling experiences of my life. They not only make it extremely comfortable and keep safety at the forefront, but they also make every individual student feel equally cared for. Their philosophy allows for every individual to go at their own pace so as to get to the end goal with full confidence and enjoyment. I usually research very heavily before I commit to where i choose to do courses, but this one I can blindly recommend. If you want to soar the skies, there’s only one good option. Fly with Temple Pilots. I will go back and do my P2, P3 and all courses beyond with them. Thank you Avi and Anita. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the love.
Had a blast training with you guys, the course is so well structured, the instructors are so good and so patient, and everyone in the team right from back office, to management, to instructors, to kitchen, everyone know exactly what their roles are and works in a sync.
Thank you to the entire team of Temple pilots for all the training, the care you took, the warmth, yummy food, fun and games, hangouts, all the love.. and with all of this you taught me how to fly 🫶🏽 .. You guys are more than a training school.
It is an amazing and well structured course. The instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced, they are very friendly, helpful and ground to earth. Safety is their highest priority.
Temple Pilots Paragliding in Kamshet is not just a paragliding school; it is a deeply transformative place that combines world class training, uncompromising safety, and a profoundly positive learning environment for both adults and teenagers.
1. A life changing P1 experience
• As a 47 year old first time student doing the APPI P1 course, the entire setup and process felt extremely structured, professional, and yet warm and welcoming from day one.
• The day is thoughtfully designed with ground handling, briefings, debriefs, simulators, and progressive flights, so you always know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
• By the end of the course, I walked away not just with a certificate, but with a huge boost in confidence, clarity about my own capabilities, and a genuine sense of having opened a new chapter in life.
2. Founders who truly care
• Avi Sir and Anita Ma’am are involved in the smallest details, from safety briefings to how students are feeling physically and emotionally through the training days.
• It is very clear they run Temple Pilots out of passion for free flight and teaching, not as a volume driven commercial operation; the focus is always on quality, safety, and student growth, never on “churning numbers.”
• Their presence sets the tone for the whole school: disciplined, kind, and deeply invested in making safe, competent and happy pilots, regardless of age or background.
3. Safety, structure and exceptional instructors
• Safety is absolutely paramount here; from internationally certified equipment and in flight radio supervision to weather based go/no go decisions where they will happily cancel or delay rather than take a risk.
• The instructors; including Santosh Sir, Sagar Sir, Pravin Sir, Vinayak Sir, Mihir Sir, Neenad Sir, Rohit Sir and many others, are passionate teachers who patiently help every student work through fear, correct mistakes, and progress at their own pace.
• They maintain an excellent instructor to student ratio, give detailed feedback after each session, and use simulators, video reviews and briefings so you understand not just how to fly, but the underlying weather, aerodynamics and decision making.
4. A special journey for my 14 year old son
• My 14 year old son did the P1 course with me, and the way the team tailored the training to his age, learning style and confidence level was remarkable, culminating in his first successful solo flight within four days.
• Watching him take off solo, with clear understanding of every step and why he was doing it, was genuinely life changing for him and for me as a parent.
• His comment perfectly captures Temple Pilots; “I wish all teachers even in schools and other institutes were like the instructors at Temple Pilots. They trained me within 4 days to be up there in the sky solo, with good learning and understanding of each and every step. This is the biggest and happiest moment of my life.”
5. Campus, food and vibrant community
• The base feels like a home and a club more than a commercial setup – a place where seekers from all walks of life meet, fly together, and form bonds that clearly bring many of them back year after year to upgrade skills.
• The food is excellent, home style and nourishing, and genuinely becomes something you look forward to after long training sessions; the kitchen team deserves a special thank you for keeping energy and morale high.
• Between the positive energy at the base, the hospitality, and the strong community of club pilots and returning students, Temple Pilots becomes a long term flying family rather than just a one time course.
If you are considering learning paragliding – whether to tick off a bucket list item, reset your life, or begin a serious flying journey for yourself or your teenager; Temple Pilots in Kamshet is, in this experience, the ideal place to start. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.
Did a 4 day P1 course with Temple Pilots & absolutely enjoyed myself. What a thrilling experience!!! The vibe of Temple, the instructors, the other pilots, Avi & Anita (the founders) was surreal – everyone is warm, friendly, supportive and genuinely nice to be around.
The home cooked food was super tasty & shared together every day as a team, an experience which took me way back. Loved my stay here & loved learning to fly solo for the first time.
Absolutely coming back for more!!!
Amazing place, amazing people, out of world food and definitely the best place to learn flying from.
My journey with Temple Pilots was fantastic. I did my P1 course over 4 days and I got the best of trainers, support and overall had the best of experience and was able to successfully do do solo flights. 5/5
Learning to fly at Temple Pilots has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The instructors are deeply knowledgeable and genuinely care about each student’s progress. The training is structured, safety is top-notch, and the vibe is super encouraging. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to level up, this is THE place to learn paragliding. Added bonus is the amazing food at the base🫶🫶
Templepilots actually gives you wings. I signed up for the APPI Basic (P1+P2 course) and it was a great ride. Right from basics, ground work (practical) to theory classes, they do ensure that you learn the basics well to ensure safety first. The food here can actually make you FAT, so beware. Great place to learn where the instructors provide ample knowledge through pratice sessions, real-time video feedback (where they take your video and discuss mistakes), capsule sessions (theory), and Avi (founder) focusses on how you feel. The team is committed to make you fly solo and independent flights. They also have simulator sessions. Templepilots have their flying community which keeps on growing. No wonder people come here again to learn more. They also have international flying sessions once you complete basic trainings. Come here, fly, and enjoy the vibe of the place. This maybe a Paragliding course, but quickly turns into another home far from home. Happy Flying!
Great instructors
Cozy place to stay
Yummy food
Safety first approach
100% recommend.
Meticulous Training Methods and Safety-First Culture🙂
What truly sets Temple Pilots apart is their structured, patient, and safety-first approach to learning. The training is a perfect blend of rigorous theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical application. Daily briefings, comprehensive theory classes on meteorology and aerodynamics, and simulator sessions ensured that the fundamental knowledge was deeply rooted before ever stepping onto the launch site.
Their progressive method of building skills step-by-step—from ground handling practice to small “bunny hops” and then progressing to the main hill—instills confidence naturally, without ever feeling rushed. The one-on-one attention and excellent instructor-to-student ratio meant personalized feedback was constant, refining my technique after every single run.
