Short Term Courses - FAQ
The Introductory P1 course lasts 4 days and is the first step in learning paragliding, offering foundational skills. The goal is to have you complete your first solo flight under the instructor’s radio guidance.
You will learn how to prepare, inflate, and control the wing on the ground (Ground Handling) and gain your first solo flight experience. At this stage, all activities are conducted under the supervision of a certified instructor.
This course serves as an introduction and discovery—your first step into the sky and the magical world of free flight, culminating in your first solo flight. Upon completion, you will receive the P1 Certificate.
The 4 Days P2 Basic course is the next step after completing P1. The focus of this course is to help you start making independent decisions and reduce reliance on instructors. You’ll begin to develop a feel for the glider, refine your flying skills, and practice weight-shift turns.
In this course, you’ll learn to make independent approaches and landings, master target landings, and build a solid foundation to fly with greater confidence, precision, and ease—preparing you to progress further in the sport.
The P2 Basic course lasts 4 days. When combined with the P1 course, the entire program takes 7 days (P1 + P2 Basic).
The P2 Advanced course follows the P2 Basic course. At this stage, you have a clear understanding of what the sport entails and the skills it requires. This course introduces you to the art of soaring, allowing you to fly like birds by staying aloft longer and reaching higher altitudes.
The focus now shifts to developing the skills needed to become an independent pilot. You’ll learn to fly for longer durations, gain confidence in the air, and truly enjoy the experience of free flight.
By the end of this course, you will be prepared to meet the requirements to become a qualified Club Trainee Pilot and earn your APPI 2 Explore License.
The P2 Advanced course lasts 4 days. When combined with P1 + P2 Basic + P2 Advanced, the complete program spans 10 days.
