We bring you a Blockbuster this Friday . A “Hike n Fly Expedition – MT. KILIMANJARO”, a lifetime experience, shared by our Club Pilot Faisal Khan.
Mt. Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain on the African continent & the highest free standing mountain in the world at 5,895 Meters ( 19,340’ Feet). It would be any pilots dream to fly from this heavens top although this dream-trip could put you back by around USD 10,000/-.
Faisal started his flying journey with Templepilots in 2008 in Bali. With 6/700 HRs under his belt, he flies close to a 100 HRs per year now. His focus is on XC Flying & Hike n Fly & although based in Interlaken, Switzerland, loves flying around in India, Europe, North Africa, Brazil, Australia & Turkey.
With ‘quit his job to follow his heart/dream/passion’, the usual story with pilots now, he is enjoying pursuing Masters in Positive Psychology’ along with part time assisting Thomas Theurillat (Chrigel Maurer’s Coach & Team Supporter in X-Alps & X-Pyr Races) in mindset coaching.
It was mind blowing to see the in-flight footage of his truly epic flight & am so looking forward to hearing the story with you in all its details from the horses mouth.
